The Moon and Pluto

A Music Movement

An Atlanta Music, Art, and Thought-Provoking Scene!

The Moon and Pluto works with awesome musicians. We promote the hell out of them, because we love them a whole bunch and find any avenue available to get their music heard. The Moon and Pluto is dedicated to helping these musicians gain exposure by creating a local backdrop composed of true artists that blaze their own paths.

If we can manage to create a collective of quality musicians, intense music fans, and integrate art and mind into the mix, maybe we can build up a music scene in Atlanta, which currently seems broken.  This space allows for a network to be built between the local artists and the fans. With the ability to post your ideas, thoughts, concerns, questions, we can keep each other informed and share our experiences for the benefit of everyone involved in music.

Our ultimate goal is to uplift and bring attention to the great creative entities in Atlanta.

The purpose of our existence is to serve the local music community and the great musicians that deserve our ears for listening, and attempt to integrate all aspects of art and mind into this realm.  I hope you'll help us in our endeavor.

The Moon and Pluto Q & A

The Moon and Pluto is a musical community that strives to integrate creative outlets of any nature and bring together focal points of substance, originality, and relevance.

What can I expect from The Moon and Pluto?

Look out for various events put on by The Moon and Pluto in the Atlanta area.  We base our events on concepts that encourage artistic distinction and  explore other dimensions of enlightenment and imagination. These events can take the form of music and arts festivals, music showcases, or lectures on matters that pertain to a greater consciousness and alternative theories.

How can I get in touch with The Moon and Pluto?

If you are interested in participating in an event or becoming a sponsor of any of the shows we put together, send an email to the address below.

Will The Moon and Pluto work with anyone?

We try to work with groups that share a similar vision of our direction.  We aren't here to book shows for the hell of it.  We create events with purpose, as an attempt to reach out to the community and present entertaining, fantastic, substantial stuff!   We love the bands that don't compromise and pay no attention to genre.  We appreciate the absence of law or rules, and we support groups that encourage the evolution of mind and spirit.

Does The Moon and Pluto charge anything to book?

No. We never charge the bands anything.  Part of the reason The Moon and Pluto got started is because we were tired of seeing other promotion companies profiting off bands, while the bands struggled to even make enough gas money to make it to their shows.  So, if you are booked with The Moon and Pluto, you can be assured that we will promote, create flyers, postcards, event listings everywhere,  and cover the venue's production costs through door/ticket sales.  Anything over the production costs gets split between the bands.

Artists!

We want The Moon and Pluto to be a place where visual artists work together with musicians and in the end, everyone finds what they're looking for!

Bands always need artists for designing logos, flyers, banners, T-shirts, and album covers.

You artists out there hold the creativity and skill needed to decipher their ideas into a visual fulfillment of articulation!

And in return, you gain exposure and respect and demand, as well as keeping the creative flow of energy vibrant within and between!!
